Against TX, BYU is 9-6 overall...
TX swept BYU in the 2008 season.
BYU against: #1 Stanford: 4-8
BYU against: # 5 Penn State: 4-6
So, based on history and road, TX is beatable. BYU had the best seed to get this far and Neb upsetting #3 UW huskies helped BYU. BYU is peaking right now and just on fire.
IF BYU can attack across the net (meaning attacking at various spots with various hitters) then I like BYU chances A LOT. Best blocking team in the NCAA is BYU, that is HUGE for VB...
Only other team that peppers the court is Stanford and they are just on another level. Stanford plays the old school VB which shares (pass) the ball. BYU can do that and WIN the entire tournament, they are that good.
