I absolutely believe that Bronco should be running the defense. But when you say, "as long as the expectations are reasonable," you hurt your argument because I don't think many of the Antis on here have reasonable expectations.

Only one team every year wins a national title and we are mad at Bronco for stating that winning the national title is his goal, even if he doesn't achieve it? That's dumb.

He does not control our situation as a non-P5 member, yet somehow Boise State getting the NY6 this year as a two-loss team as the G5 representative is a reason for discrediting Bronco. How does one team's access to NY6 Bowls have any effect whatsoever on Bronco's performance or decision making skills?

Bronco is too good at defense to give it up. It is his defensive mind that allows us to look the other way when he does weird things. I do think that having watch over the whole team has been good for BYU, but it is clear that the defense needs him each day at practice with them.
