I completely disagree with this. A 3 star recruit in Utah is likely a 2 star
recruit in TX due to the disparity in competition. etc. etc.
Ogletree had an on point post about this last year. He basically said if we want to compete, we have to get outside of Utah for most of our recruits. In other words, if most of our recruits are coming from Utah we are hosed.
Think of it this way. There are only 3 million people in Utah. There are more than 12 times that number in CA alone.
