the siren is already going and the only vehicle in front is the white truck. the cop car is then passed by the red car. the red car is then struck by the lightning. if the red car, which was presumably struck down by God as retribution for the church robbery, was being chased by the cop, how come the cop was in front and had to be passed by the red car?
