Good point. Also think that it says something about team attitude prior to Boise
I get from this quote that BYU wasn't letting losses prior to Boise bother them too much.

Seems like players thought after USU - Well, we lost Taysom and a bunch of others in USU, things were crazy. Don't let it get to you, play hard and win the next one. (I sort of agree with this)

After UCF - Well, we lost in OT because of a blown call. We were in the game till the last play, they just made one more play than us. Plus, BYU hasn't won in Florida ever. Don't let it get to you, win the next one. (I don't agree with this)

Who knows what they were thinking after Nevada. Nevada should have been their wake up call.

Apparently it took being embarrassed by Boise State on national TV to really wake them up.

The point is --- there's something to be said about not letting things that aren't in your control get to you. Winning isn't out of BYU's control though. Holding teams to less than season-high yardage isn't out of BYU's control. Even in the games where BYU was winning, they should've thought - We won, but we NEED to do better.

IDK if this was Stew's attitude, but I have to think it is indicative of the team as a whole. The team needs to stop thinking that they performed "well enough" or that a loss was something that they shouldn't let get to them. They need to be hungry to do better, and not need to get blown out to wake up and realize that no one is going to make it easy for them.
