My spreadsheet contains the following:

table1, a named range, contains text values in three contiguous cells ==> "mx" "mod" "min" (these values are in descending order)

cell B7 = "min"

using the match function, here is my calculation for the relative place in table1 of the value in B7

=MATCH(B7,table1) which results in this ==> #N/A, rather than the value 3


This seems so simple. What am I doing wrong?
