Genuine question (no set up going on)...
I get that the NFL is a business to earn money, and I also get the fact that they *must* acquire the best talent they can get...

That being said, after years of watching the draft, and seeing some of the "scrubs" they take (Okay, it's a biased/uneducated comparison to some of the talented kids who remain un-drafted), do you think that the NFL scouts are sometimes swayed by the popularity of the kids in college? The NFL has struck out on a number of qb's recently, and they always seem to have a few really bad picks every year. So, do some kids from major programs get picked *because* of the record of the school that year, or maybe because of the school's "P5" reputation?

The reason I ask that is because I just don't see BYU having 15 NFL players on one roster. Ever. I gotta wonder if the scouts were swayed by the System, or the winning record or gaudy stats? If so, does it still happen? Probably.
