That map is why I believe BYU as a football only member to the Big 12 works..
Football can travel. No need to expand to the east for a program that will bring less money to the conference, just because they are closer to West Virginia.
Basketball can travel pretty well too, but not as easy as football. The Big 12 should make BYU and Cincinnati football only members and reevaluate the other sports when the TV contract is up. Makes the most sense and the most money for the Big 12.
