About a year and a half ago I was able to get on the phone with Rick Neuheisal when he was doing one of the SiriusXM College Football shows. I brought the conversation up about BYU and he said something to the effect that when he would go into a home and see a large picture of Christ and a piano he would ask if the recruit was LDS. He then went onto say that the LDS recruits belonged to BYU and he and his staff knew it would be tough to convince the recruit to play for them vs BYU. Don't know if this was when he was at Washington or UCLA though.

Either way I don't know if things are still that way anymore with LDS kids on the west coast.
