Looks like my hot water heater stopped working yesterday. I checked the pilot, which seemed to have gone out. I relighted it, and it's managing to stay on but the burner doesn't seem to want to kick on.

1. My power knob is at the "on" position, not pilot.
2. When I move the thermostat dial, I hear a click that should click the burner on, but no "flume" sound of the burner lighting.

Of course we're planning on leaving town for the holiday tomorrow and have a bunch of laundry to do beforehand. Anyone have any suggestions on problems I can try and fix on my own?
