I can't remember the last time we've beaten them in football without having to really sit down and think about it. In fact, my 5 year old son has never seen it happen in his lifetime.

Utah has beaten the Cougars 2 years in a row in basketball. More than likely going to be 3 straight in basketball after next year.

I don't give 2 craps about overall records. I care about the fact that Utah continued to beat us right now in the only 2 sports that mean anything to me. And yes, I not even a huge basketball fan.

Overall record is nice and all but winning against your rival is more important. My kids friends are all turning into Ute fans because kids are bandwagon fans. Being a ute fan in St. George is the cool thing these days. Maybe it's because of conference affiliation. Maybe it's because kids like red more than blue. Regardless, it's a shift of momentum in the wrong direction and continually losing isn't helping.
