BYU, as a university, is going to be heavyweight at some point, even more so than it is now. The numbers guarantee it. BYU brings in 8,000 accomplished, intelligent kids a year from all over, creates an allegiance in them, and then sends them out all over the rest of the world, where they then have more kids than anyone else. BYU will be a demographic juggernaut down the road, and given that conferences like the Big 10 are already expanding over demographic concerns, I am very confident that at some point, BYU will be even more attractive as a program than it is now. The question is when.
