We view ourselves as a mighty P5 teams and look down on G5 teams. Memphis is 9-3 and won their conference. We are 8-4, went 2-1 in the AAC and 1-3 in the MWC. There is no bowl team that we should expect to beat. Just because Memphis isn't a blue-blood doesn't mean they aren't good and just because BYU won a national championship 30 years ago doesn't me we are good.

This is a game that will test BYU greatly. Our team has always struggled with good defenses (not just this year) and our defense this year is very suspect. Our special teams have struggled. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I think "expecting" a win is a bit optimistic.
