The defense looks atrocious, not a playmaker anywhere in my opinion. I dont even know who our best db is at this point. LBs awful, DL is meh. But last year we were light years better it seemed like, and same for year before.

So either (1) Bronco forgot how to coach D which I dont think is true, or (2) Howell is to blame or (3) the talent is really bad compared to previous years. I say #3 is a definite yes, this team looks awful talent wise. I am not smart enough to know if #2 is true or #2 just looks like it because of #3. I don't think #1 is true, that Bronco has forgotten how to coach a defense.
