BYU football could be hanging by a thread.
I'm not sure if any other CB's agree with me, but BYU ending football is a real possibility.
I'm not saying it is going to happen because of the fight today, but a handful more episodes like this by BYU football and the BOT will strongly consider pulling the plug. The other sports are sound in the WCC and 85 additional men's athletic scholarships would gladly be handed out to other sports like men's soccer, lacrosse, wrestling, etc.
Additional factors the could persuade the BOT is the professionalization of college football and the research into head injuries.
I'm not a BYU football doomsdayer, but the writing is on the wall.
