I know it's the rule, and the players have to be disciplined and mature enough to deny the urge, but how did the display of genuine excitement demonstrating a homerun swing in a professional baseball stadium detract from anything or put anyone down in any way? Frankly, I thought it was pretty creative. Fans enjoy that kind of thing, when it's creative and done in good humor, and isn't done at the expense of anyone else.
I think that rule needs to be modified so that all the fun isn't taken out of the game for the players.
