I agree. because..
It doesn't matter who started it or if we were justified by defending fellow teammates. And I'm not saying that this will end BYU football in and of itself.

But if the program over time does as much damage to the cause than it does good, then the program will change or end. If off the field issues, and on the field behavior become a spotlight to our religion and doctrine in a negative fashion, something may have to give.

I've been poked fun at by many on this board last time I posted something about the behavior of the fans in college football, so I'm sure I'll get nothing less here. The attitude and sportsmanship of fans and players alike is what in the end if anything leads to the dismantling of the BYU sports program.

Sports has come a long way since I was younger. It hasn't gone in a good direction. Fans and players alike. It's representative of the lack of respect we show others in the population at large. Lack of respect isn't even close to the right description. It's so much more than this. Football in general seems to be a place where attitudes and behavior comes out in it's worst. I'm not so much concerned about the other sports programs, but football worries me more. I hope it doesn't go away.

This is also why I like Bronco. He is about more than just winning. He is actually trying to develop men first, then players.
