Once again we got off to a slow start
That's a bad habit we need to break. It's tough battling back from being down by 16 so early in the game. But battle back we did. But then we went cold again and couldn't hang onto our small lead.

Considering we had one starter out and two others not at 100%, we played quite well. With those three at full strength, we just might have won it. Maybe we'll be more ready to go when we play in Spokane and give them a run up there.

The bench stepped up and several guys contributed. Winder probably should start and play most of the game. He makes a mistake here and there but considering he is probably the best defensive player, gets down court the quickest with the ball for a quick basket, is a good shooter and doesn't seem to get tired plus he is hard to guard, he could play virtually the whole game.

Halford got things going when he came in. He's not the most talented player on the team but he does have a lot of energy and makes things happen. Especially valuable when he's making the threes like tonight.

If we can win all the other conference games, which is real tough to do, and we somehow beat the Zags up there, and by some miracle win the conference tourney, or some combination thereof, we can be a NCAA tourney team. Lot of ifs and maybes. Lot of tough games ahead before we get there.
