Not correct. BYU must win all games through WCC tourney for 30 wins before NCAAs
An unlikely feat for either the Zags or BYU in a strong conference.
But the Zags could lose to BYU twice and still go in the NCAAs with 30 wins. Is that is what you meant?
The way the stars are now lining up, my hope is that BYU will defeat the Zags at least once and go into the NCAAs 28-6 as #6 seed.
If they continue to consistently overwhelm teams by double digits, 28-6 will earn BYU a top 10 ranking by Pomeroy, though the AP voters will hold them down significantly lower than that.
Of the 33 conference in D-1, WCC is 8th, PAC 12 is 6th on Pomeroy, who is the guru who matters most for ranking conferences.
