Remember, the  WCC saved them (byu). Repeat, saved them! After their WAC plans fell through, when they decided - repeat, they decided - to pack their bags and leave the MWC; their only options were to remain in the crumbled 5.0 version of the WAC, or embarrassingly beg back into the scorned MWC with their tails tucked in between their legs - which was never going to happen without football. Therefore, in reality, they had only one option at that time, the WAC. (Everyone take a look at the current WAC members.) 

BYU fans should be forever grateful to the WCC. They should be leaving Sees Chocolates at the WCC steps in San Bruno every day. Instead, BYU fans rather perpetually insult and demean the league, on a daily basis, with derogatory remarks about about playing in “high school” gyms and how they don't belong with such inferior teams. 
  
I always find their intense angst highly perplexing and laughable, but mostly ironic and ungrateful. 

Next time (today) anyone reads or hears insulting comments towards the WCC from the thousands of BYU fans, feel free to remind them of 3 letters; and then lead them to the offices of the WAC.‎
