If you think Roger Reid was the best coach at BYU you are in a cave. He was very good with x's and o's but a terrible terrible recruiter and treated the players awful.
His record is so glossy because BYU bailed him out and fired him at the beginning of the 6 win year. Had he not been fired his record would not be nearly as glossy. To top that off he left the cupboard very bare. You think Cleveland walked in to a roster of talent?
