Sad to think we have to of the best to ever play at Byu and we can't beat a poor team like San Diego. We lose for one simple reason, we can't play defense when it matters and specifically in the paint. Just like football, the problem is stopping people, not scoring points.

When the game is tight and our opponents take the ball inside we either give up a layup or foul. Good teams get stops when it counts. Byu simply hopes to be far enough ahead that defense won't matter. It didn't work against SD.

While Austin may give us more rebounding he wouldn't change much on our interior defense. Feel bad for Ty and KC. A serviceable big man would have made a big difference in several of our losses this year.

Get used to it fellow fans. There will be more eggs laid before this season ends. Really disappointing that our coaches can't manage recruiting better (this is not an injury issue) and develop a better defensive scheme.
