If you really are hankering for a soda just pay for it individually. When my wife and I would go to the comedy clubs on board we always just got a couple of sodas. Still never even came close to paying what we would have paid for the soda card.

We always bring water, Gatorade, soda in a separate bag. Never had a problem.
