Each player you named for one reason or another probably wouldn't have been as successful at BYU as a different school for different reasons. To varying degrees I see why BYU wouldn't be a good fit for each guy.

What I find more interesting is why the majority aren't going to Utah or USU. It seems the Pac/conference affiliation may not be the recruiting panacea they were expecting. They're also in a bit of turmoil right now trying to get new coaches and stop recruits from jumping ship.
