Why, though? It makes no sense to me.
You guarantee an extra loss and an extra win for the conference. I think the only reason you would do that is if both teams were abysmal and were guaranteed to lose the OOC game, anyway. There's no way to forecast right now that Wake and NC will be that bad that far down the road.
