I have a good friend whose dad is a retired Jr. High Phys Ed teacher from Payson that told me he knows a coach that said a BYU coach didn't know the Payson High school Mascot was a Lion. He knows an SUU coach and knows that he knows that the Payson HS mascot is a Lion.

One of these four things are true:
1-BYU thinks that HS mascot names are dumb and not worth knowing
2-BYU is just very bad remembering mascot names
3-BYU doesn't care (that's idiotic) so....
4-BYU thinks Payson is full of irrelevant hicks that should beg to come to BYU

It is finally catching up to BYU. Shocks me when Taysom tells the story of his Hs recruitment. Coaches "thought I liked being called 'Taters' and also thought that we copied our Mascot from Highland HS in Utah! Everyone knows it was just a coincidence."

Insert foot in mouth. Until we make changes it is gonna get worse. Buckle up boys.
