Some like to complain because a guy like Gustin isn't offered, and that we missed on Empey and the kid from AF and Dayan Lake is looking elsewhere. And yet as Stantonmac asked, if that is the case why aren't people complaining about Martzen who is apparently loved by 99% of CBers based upon what I've seen?
We have gotten the 2 kids transferring from Washington State, and Harvey this past year from Nebraska who played a lot for us at safety, and an impact WR from Utep (yes his "uncle" coached at BYU but we still got him) and a kick returner from Stanford, and a DB from Notre Dame in Badger and probably a number of other transfers I am missing.
I have no idea what the story is on kids we missed on, but we sure seem to be hitting on a lot of other transfers. So whats the deal - give Martzen credit for transfers but howl about how bad BYU is with high school kids? Give Martzen credit when HS kids from Texas who had no connection to BYU commit, but blame Bronco when Utah kids don't? Just give credit to Martzen when it goes good?
We can get better at recruiting......then again that can be said of about everyone cant it? So anyway, Martzen is good and Bronco bad? Martzen bad and Bronco bad? Martzen and Bronco good?
