Whenever any recruit chooses another school over BYU, 95% of CB starts on this whole, sex, drugs, and rampant debauchery must be the reason why they wouldn't want to come here. The reality is Provo, to most of the people on the planet, is a social armpit. Now I know that opinions vary, and some people think Provo is great, I get that, but from someone who has lived all the United States, I would never move back to Provo.

1) Cold as hades (can I say hades on this board, or is that part of the pettiness I was referring to in number 6) during winter.
2) No diversity what so ever
3) Tunnel singing is pretty stupid
4) Nothing to do...Provo Beach is cool once.
5) No tolerance
6) A lot of pettiness
7) Hitlers youth environment

Most people refuse to see these aspects of Provo, and if they do they refuse to admit it. Its easier to assume people are in to drunken orgies, than it is to admit there are lots of great kids out there, that just don't like Provo.
