I thought Mike came off really well, this tweet is stirring the pot IMO
He said his boy was going out on a mission as soon as he can, he'll graduate in May and put on his papers that he's available June 1.

He spoke very highly of BYU's schedule and said it will be terrific for BYU players to play the elite teams and players, and the exposure will be fantastic for them. He agreed with the host that it doesn't really matter if you're in a conference or not in terms of getting to the NFL, if you're good enough, the NFL will find you. He thought there was no downside to BYU for NFL dreamers, and lots of positives.

He talked about how much love and respect he had for 2J and how he did a great job recruiting James, but it came down to where he felt he fit in best. He also said that they were really impressed at the Utah practices at how much fun they were having while working hard, the atmosphere was terrific at practices and it translated to the field.

I wondered to myself if James's impression might have been different had he visited a spring practice with Wintrich at the helm. I've heard the tenor between Wintrich and Omer is night and day. Where one practice/workout is high energy and explosive, the other was quiet drudgery. I liked Wintrich's comment as to what would Nebraska say about us if they visited an off season workout, would they go back and tell their players "nah, we got this, they aren't working hard" or would they go back and tell the Nebraska players "we've got some work to do, BYU is pumped up"?
