crying because he got fourth in every race. Another boy's car did something and stopped on the track mid-race. Then there were a handful of cars that smoked everyone else. It was my older son that was the cryer 4 years ago and since took a more active role in helping my boys with their cars.
I liked the suggestion that was made here that their ward made their pinewood derby cars on activity night with no help from dads. Cars stayed in the building. They were 100% boy made except for the cutting. I wonder if our ward would go for that; and if they did, how much complaining there would be.
