Apple sold on average 34,000 iPhones per hour, every single hour
during the last quarter. 34,000 iPhones. Every. Single. Hour.

I can't imagine the logistics involved in manufacturing, distributing, and selling that many items of complex electronics. The volume of the Chinese manufacturing plants is incredible.

Whether you are an Apple fan or not (I love my iPhone), it's kind of scary how powerful Apple and the other giant companies have become.
