courteous. He came up to speak to some youths at a local church school. He came early talked with me and the person running the event for an hour. Really thought he was a great guy. He's a man of God. Brought his team pastor with him. Puts great stock in his Christianity/success. He's a competitor, but most of all he's a motivator. He gave a great speech that night. Was not surprised to see his success over the next few years. His personality can seem cold, not a man of many words, actually listens a lot (a rarity these days). If you watch his post game interviews you can get a sense of his personality. Smart, short answers, oozing with confidence, almost seems condescending at times, but I don't think he is. But he gets paid to win games, whatever works. I'd take him as a coach any day. The first thing he said to the kids that night was this "If I ever see any one of you go up against me on the field of battle know that I will kick your you know what." Then he proceeded to inspire and motivate them about God, life, and competition over the next hour. Then met every one of them. It stuck with me. Never forget it. I'm a fan.
