IT guys I am having an issue with my tax software and support can't figure it
out. I use UltraTax software. The software is downloaded on our network/server computer and I just access the server to access the program and client files. For some reason, I can open the software, but once I get in it errors out like the server is trying to boot me out. I have reinstalled the desktop setup on my computer many times, disconnected from the serve, rebooted both server and my computer, but to no avail. It is the same issue over again.

Either there is a corrupt file on my computer or the server or at some point access is being denied. I am not sure if it a software issue or what. What also is weird is that there are no software files on my computer to uninstall. I wonder if remapping my network drive would work, but I don't know how to do that. IT support has been useless.

Any ideas?
