whether it is his perception or he has had some bad experiences I am not sure. It seems like Bronco's players tend to support him for the most part and LaVell's guys are mixed at best when it comes to Bronco. I think the LaVell guys feel like some of us who are long-time fans of the program. We understand what Bronco is trying to do, it is just that he isn't doing it the way we are used to it being done. I guess we are a little revisionist with our history, because the later years of LaVell's career after 1996 were about where Bronco has been.

I thought Buck's comments were more about his frustration than anything. If you noticed....DJ & PK just got out of the way and let him talk. He didn't need to be prodded or poked much, he just rambled. That to me is a lot of pent up frustration. Similar to some of the posts we see on Cougarboard every day.

It is funny to see people start questioning Buck's loyalty, coaching ability, his knowledge of recruiting, understanding of the game, etc. just because he speaks his mind. The old "if you speak against us, you are not one of us" routine that so often gets thrown at anyone who dares question what goes on in Provo.
