Can anyone explain why Olympic lifts are good/bad at developing overall strength
Yesterday in BYU sports nation interview with Kelly Poppinga, he mentioned that the new S&C Coach Wintrich has instituted a "no Power Cleans, Snatchs, etc (Olympic Lifts)" policy. Brian Logan was excited about it... but I know that Crossfit really focuses on Olympic Lifts, and many who focus on whole body strength really like Olympic Lifts. Not being a Sports Science physiologist, I'm genuinely interested in hearing the pro's/con's. Is it an injury issue?
