Regarding BYU being considered P5 by ACC, isn't it advantageous for any team
or conference that ever schedules BYU, as a P5 school? I know it really only matters for SEC and ACC since the other conferences don't look at it the same, but I would think that any team or conference that schedules BYU, has scheduled BYU in the past or just might some day sched BYU, this would be a move that they would want to adopt (I guess speaking of the SEC). You want your teams to "look good" and by classifying BYU as P5, it looks good for those teams and conferences. BYU even has a lot of PAC games coming up, and even though the PAC doesn't have the same provisions, it still looks better for all PAC teams and the conference if BYU is considered a higher level program (to all PAC team besides UU of course).

Trying to to get too excited, but I think this is very good news. If SEC follows soon, that would be awesome.

btw, I kind of wonder how it happened? Is this something BYU and TH campaigned for or what?
