Big 12 Expansion – Myth #1: Does Size Matter?
http://big12fanatics.com/big-12-expansion-myth-1-size-matter/

Top of page 2 - looking at the future of cable going streaming:
1. The Obvious Child:

The obvious one is BYU. It actually fits both molds (large fan base, nice market size), but we are only looking at their national, even global fan base. This is a no brainer. If sports are moving to a subscription model, which is most likely going to happen, this is the team that has a world wide following. They literally have people who go all over the world to convert people into BYU fans. Well, maybe that isn’t their primary mission, but it is an undeniably fortunate byproduct. Once the sub Saharan gets broadband, BYU may become the most popular team in all of sports. Regardless, at this moment and for the foreseeable future, BYU brings the most global/national viewers than any other team available.
