Just left a car dealership. Helping my 87 yr old widowed grandmother buy a car.
My grandma lives on a very fixed income and is extremely frugal and extremely giving. Honestly the sweetest and most Christ like person I've ever met in person.

She's extremely faithful as a Latter Day Saint. Everything about her exudes old nice, sweet Mormon lady. You'd think she came off the plains in a wagon like her ancestors did.

She mentions prayer, being blessed and other religious phrases routinely in her conversations. She is also extremely naive and trusting of everyone.

She was ready to purchase a car for almost $1700 more than I can get it for at LHM in SLC (I called them). Anyway, before we leave the salesman tells my grandma...

"I suggest you drive the car home, and after reading and pondering your scriptures tonight please make sure to pray whether or not this is the right decision for you or not. That's what I do for every big purchase I make as well".

I genuinely try to not believe the stereotypes of car salesman but after experiences like that it's hard not to.
