Title IX would appear to state that if you pay TCOA to football players you must pay it to all athletes including the women.

If the WCC said member schools could NOT pay TCOA to their athletes and Title IX had to be met then BYU football would certainly be in a bind.

Also consider we have other sports that play in other conferences as well. BYU does need to be in a situation where all of them will at least say it is up to us if we pay it. If any of them said absolutely not we'd likely have to change conferences to one that doesn't say no....

Tom Holmoe needs to be doing some significant work in influencing these conferences on their decision....
