Comparatively speaking, Zylstra was not the greatest basketball talent for D1, that part is fairly obvious. However, much more than anyone of us, he was good enough to at least play D1 basketball. He never made himself out to be anything other than what he was, worked his butt off and gave us all he could. He was obviously the best we had at the time, and he's a BYU guy.
What's wrong for appreciating him for what he was and gave to BYU and not ripping him or making snide remarks just because of what he wasn't?
