Moving the student section was a bad idea
It took a while, but last night it finally dawned on me: Moving the student section to behind the hoop was a terrible decision... for the atmosphere of the Marriott Center. It probably made all the financial sense in the world, but it just killed the energy in that building. And it has diminished our home court advantage significantly. There is no Marriott Center magic anymore.

I remember when we were unbeatable on that court. Unbeatable. Didn't our home court unbeaten streak stretch to three consecutive years? We would blow out really good UNLV, New Mexico and SDSU teams every year.

Now we lose a couple at home every year. We have to summon all our eagle powers to beat San Francisco.

Kinda sad. I wish BYU never would have made that decision.
