Gilbert to Tucson commute question

Looking at a job that would require 1-2 days per week in Gilbert, and 3-4 days per week in Tucson. For those who live in or are familiar with AZ, would you:

1. Live in Tucson and commute to Gilbert 1-2 days per week?

or

2. Live in Gilbert and commute to Tucson 3-4 days per week?

Vail is one of the best places to live in Tucson area.
