For those who don't know, Team B is BYU last year and they got a 10 seed. Team A is what BYU's resume would be this year if they lose to Pepperdine and Gonzaga and then lose to Gonzaga in the conference championship (beating St. Mary's twice between now and the end of the year). That screams to me that BYU still has a chance at getting in even if they lose a couple of games between now and the end of the regular season. BYU last year did have a couple more wins against RPI 50-100 teams than this years team (which is why the SOS is a little higher last year) so we probably wouldn't be safely in in that case, but we'd at least be in the thick of the conversation. Now if we can win out with the exception of the Gonzaga games then we should be pretty safe.
