Any tips on smoking a Boston Butt?
It's about 8 pounds. I've smoked turkey, brisket, and ribs, but never a pork butt or shoulder. I got the dry rub and some apple juice for the smoker and apple wood.

I was thinking of smoking it about 3 hours then finishing it off in a crock pot or oven for another 6 hours. How does this sound?
