Mutu makes a good point about Bartley not understanding the defense schemes well nor does he shoot well but i think his strengths justify 10 minutes, given he is a superb ball hawker, rebounder, on ball defender, and an increasingly good passer and good judgement on offense. He is also has very strong hands.
The one similarity about the coaching treatment for Winder and Bartley is both have had to get past disastrous experiments at PG. As i reported from last summers pick-up games, PG is foremost about leadership and only KC, Halford and Ellis have the goods for that role. It is surprising how long it takes Rose to figure some of these thhings out, especially considering how much confidence he has in the reliability of his intuition.
