unfortunately, D1 basketball isn't something that comes easy for him--largely cuz he's a bit short for the 5, is not quick enough to score on the block, & lacks the hops to rebound well. I could see him turning a corner in BB in the next year, but with the talent we have in the stall I think his future is still a very small role off the bench even if he maximizes his talent.
On the other hand, I have little doubt he could be effective as a tackle on our line after some intense weight conditioning & position training.
Wisconsin offered him as an OT, so he must've been a pretty decent tackle in HS. BB has shown he works very hard, does the coaches' bidding, & is assignment-sound. And he could easily put on 50-70 lbs & still be plenty mobile. Dude is big.
