1- I think our big guys have the potential to play well with their backs to the basket. However, Dave Rose has shown no trust on these guys, and it's rare to see a play called inside with a post player to the basket. Our bigs have zero confidence to post up, and you'll notice that if they do get the ball inside, they quickly panic and dish the ball to a SG. I think our bigs lack confidence inside because Dave Rose hasn't given them much of a chance, and maybe rightfully so.

2- I've said this before and I'll say it again, GET RID OF LUKE WORTHINGTON. He has absolutely no bodily control. When he has the ball, it's like he freaks out and his body goes all crazy. It's like he's allergic to the ball.

3- It was nice to see some rebounding by our big guys last night. Overall, I think this is just a down year with big guys. We need a real inside post presence (I know, this is the first time that you've heard this, isn't it?). Unfortunately, I don't think that we have this. However, if we got hot at the right time (in March), I think this team has the potential to beat a Gonzaga on any give night. However, Gonzaga plays superior defense and this would kill our team just like it did in Provo.

4- We need the 3 seed really bad. It give us any chance of an auto bid. If we end up with the 4 seed, we have to play Gonzaga in the semi-finals, and we're toast. However, maybe that wouldn't be necessarily a bad thing. I think I'd almost rather play Gonzaga in the semi-final game since it's on a Monday with a day of rest, as opposed to a Tuesday on a back-to-back night.
