and I used to have a lot of relatives who lived there. No one cared about the Seahawks back then. (This was in the 90s and early 2000s.) Nobody watched the games, and nobody really seemed to give a crap about the team. The Seahawks were a joke. Seattle seemed to be one of the worst NFL cities in the country. People in Seattle and Washingtonians in general were completely apathetic about them. Now they have one of the most rabid, arrogant, passionate fan bases in the country. It's funny how their fanbase has changed so dramatically in the space of not very many years.
