I just started with a new company last year, and my new bonus target is 50% of the target from my prior company. That number is deceiving, however, because I didn't receive a bonus for the last 3 years from my prior company due to insane margin targets and miserable financial results. On the flip side, my new company pays bonuses pretty much every year, and we are getting 150% (max) of our target this year.
