I built with edge. We generally had a good experience.
We really like our house and i think we got great value for what we got. However, a couple tips (I'm sure that these generally can apply to any builder) :

- Make sure to visit your house every day when it is being built. The superintendents are building 20-40 houses at a time so you need to be there to make sure that everything is being done the way you want. Our neighbors never visited until their walk through and were sorely disappointed when things were not done the way they were expecting.

- the squeaky wheel gets the oil. We got them to do a bunch of things they wouldn't have done normally because i was in almost daily contact with the builder and we asked.

- during your design room appointment, be very specific about what you want. You may even want to tape the conversation. There were a few things promised to us that later i had to really argue with them to get it done.

- expect to spend 30-80k over the base price on upgrades. They say that the last $10k makes all the difference.

Anyway, we really like our house and compared to other houses built around the same time, I've been impressed with edge.

Feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions.
